New Artwork of the Day: Dragonfly Lexie

April 13, 2007 at 1:00 am 3 comments

I was browsing through the new artworks added last month and discovered Sheryl Bunnage’s dragonfly series.

What made these paintings so interesting to me? Well – maybe it’s the vivid colors and lovely details she’s captured. Or perhaps it’s the whimsical way she’s named each dragonfly in honor of someone dear to her. For example, Dragonfly Lexie is named after her dog. Other dragonflies featured in Sheryl’s Artist Rising gallery are named after friends and family members. Check ‘em out and say “eh” to this talented artist from Alberta, Canada.

The background is just as amazing as the dragonfly itself, the other paintings are incred.

I love the colors in her work, too!
