New Artwork of the Day: Rains

April 20, 2007 at 11:27 am 2 comments

Our last entry in our “blue” series this week is Rains by Brett Buzdygon. I lived in the Northwest for a few years, and somehow this modern, stylish piece reminded me of those misty, drizzly days in Seattle.

Brett is studying Art History at Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania, and he cites Stanley Donwood and Jackson Pollock as major influences in his painting style. Take a peek at his Artist Rising gallery and check out this young artist on the rise.

Such unique work! Love the sky in this one and also really liked Untitled, the abstract landscape on your gallery!
