Show More, Sell More: Sistino Listings Increase

It’s true — if you show more, you’ll sell more. So to help that along, we’re increasing your Sistino image listings allowance for all accounts. Here’s the deal:

    THEN   NOW
Open Studio 3 images 10 images
Select Studio 15 images 50 images
Premium Studio 40 images 200 images

What do you need to do to get this upgrade? Nothing — these allowances will be added to your account automatically. All you have to do is sign in to your account, and select additional works to be listed on Sistino. Remember, images must be set-up for Print-on-Demand (POD) in order to be listed on Sistino.

  • Haven’t added images to your gallery yet? Sign in to your Artist Rising account and go to “Your Gallery” to get started
  • Ready to take your gallery to the next level? Sign in and go to “My Account” to upgrade to Select or Premium Studio Membership

What if M.C. Escher had a Wacom Tablet?

Found this amazing YouTube video from via Bazipedia’s blog on WordPress.

I have a Wacom tablet at home, but somehow haven’t gotten past the awkward stage with it. Watching this video is inspiring me to blow off the dust and try again.

It also reminded me that I still have a few days left to check out the M.C. Escher Exhibit at the San Jose Museum of Art. It’s up until April 22 so I’ve got two weekends left to see this art show.

New on Sistino: Staff Picks

We here at Artist Rising and Sistino see a lot of great art, so we thought we’d share some of our personal favorites. The Staff Picks Galleries rolled out this week on Sistino, and most all of us, from Brad, our VP to Alice in Artist Services curated online galleries to show you some of the artworks that caught our eyes. There’s lots to see — artworks in different styles and mediums from artists from all over the U.S. as well as international painters and photographers.

In my Staff Picks Gallery, a lot of my choices remind me of favorite places: Hawaii, Japan and Joshua Tree National Park. But I also picked a few artworks that appealed to my interest in graphic design, illustration and digital animation. One artist’s work that I thought was especially interesting is Charles (Chuck) Cirino’s flying saucer series — definitely not your average landscape painting!
